Pausing an agent will allow the agent to remain in the queue without the need to remove them if you are going to add them in again later. This is useful in situations such as holidays.
To Pause Agents, sign into the dashboard and open Status > Call Queues
Open the queue that has the currently active agent, this will open a table of stats for all agents in the queue, such as activity and DND status. Look for the agent you wish to pause, then push the pause button in the column on the right hand side
Once paused, the agent's row will be similar to the following
