Setting up a Remote Directory Phone Book

This guide will show you how to enable the Remote Directory phone book on your Yealink Handset.

First login to the phones web GUI by entering the phones IP address into your web browser.

Username: admin
Password: (Request from SiPalto)

Select the Directory tab at the top of the page, followed by Setting on the left.

Using the left/right/up/down arrows move the Local Directory and Remote Phone Book options to both Enabled sections, ensuring the Remote Phone Book option is above the Local Directory option. Move the History option to the Disabled section.

Press Confirm and the contacts will load onto the handset automatically if a phone book has been uploaded to the SiPalto dashboard.

Now the Yealink phone has the Remote Phone Book enabled, you will be able to search for contacts using the number keys on your handset.
