This guide covers factory resetting Yealink T3x, T4x and Yealink T5x deskphones.
There are two ways to factory reset a Yealink handset; via the physical handset or via the handset's web interface.
Via the Physical Handset:
Press and hold down the OK button on the front of the handset until you get a page pop up asking you to confirm factory reset, press the OK softkey to confirm or press Cancel to cancel the operation.
Via the handset's web interface:
Press the OK button once and it will then display the phone's internal IP address.
Enter this IP address into your web browser (you'll need to be on the same LAN as the handset).
You will be prompted for a username and password, please enter them here. If you do not know the username and password of the phone you may need to reset the phone via the first option outlined above.
Now, Press the Settings tab at the top followed by Upgrade on the left, then click Reset to Factory and confirm to begin the process.
NOTE Do not unplug or remove the power to the phone while it is factory resetting, the process will take up to 5 mins and the phone may reboot a number of times. Once completed the handset should appear in its idle state.
