Downloading and Installing – iOS

The Sipalto App is a useful and easy way to use your business phone system on the move, using your mobile device.

Once the request for a new Sipalto app has been made, we will send you a login email. This will contain your Download Link, Username, and Password.

Please either use the link in the login email to find the latest iOS version or search for “Sipalto” on the Apple App Store. Download the app to your device and Open when download is complete.

When you receive the prompt: “Sipalto” Would Like to Send You Notifications - choose Allow (this allows notifications of incoming calls when the Sipalto App is in the background).

When you receive the prompt: “Sipalto” Would Like to Access the Microphone - choose Allow (this allows use of the device microphone for Sipalto App VoIP calls).

On the login page, please use the username and password that was sent to you in the email.

To ensure all permissions are set correctly, please navigate to the main iPhone Settings page, then scroll down until you find the Sipalto App.

The following settings should be set to allowed as per the below image:

Contacts: Optional - Can be selected in the Sipalto App

Microphone: Allowed

Siri & Search: Allowed

Notifications: Allowed

Background App Refresh: Allowed

Mobile Data: Allowed
