Fax - Receiving a fax

As well as voice calls, phone numbers can be used to send and receive faxes. In this guide we discuss how you can use your phone number to receive a fax.

To find this configuration, please follow below:

Configuration > Phone Numbers > Click on desired phone number> Scroll down to "Fax"

Receive Fax: Please change this to "Force".

Fax Station ID: By default, you should see your company name here, this can however, be changed to something of your choice.

Fax Protocol: Please select "T.38/G.711".

Email destinations: Here, you enter the email address you would like the incoming fax sent to. To enter more than 1 email address, please make sure they are separated with a comma and then a space.

Store fax received: You can choose to store the faxes you have received in the dashboard. Simply select "Yes" or "No" to disable or enable this feature.

If you choose "Yes", faxes will be stored in the section Status > Faxes
