Alter CallerID

This guide will show you how to create a Custom Destination which will show a custom CallerID while dialling an outbound call. The Alter CallerID feature is very useful in environments where a tenant uses multiple phone numbers for outbound calling.

To start head to Custom Destinations under Configuration and press New Custom Destination

First set Type to "Forward Call to" and name give the Custom Destination a name in the second field.

In phone Number please enter ${PARAM1}, set the Dial Timeout to how long the call should ring for.

In the next boxes select the CallerID number - this is what will be displayed when outbound dialling. In CallerID name you can set the name that will be displayed on calls.

Press Save when you've finished configuring the Custom Destination.
