Voicemails

This guide will show you how to create a voicemail to collect audio messages for any calls out of hours or when busy.

Go to Voicemails under Configuration and press New Voicemail

Define Voicemail

Mailbox:Enter the mailbox number E.g. 7000

Name: Name your mailbox

Email:Enter an email address to receive notifcations of voicemails Note: multiple addresses can be entered by seperating the entires with a comma (E.g. support@sipalto.com,helpdesk@sipalto.com)

Timezone: Europe/London - GMT

Pager: Applies only if a pager is in use

Envelope playback:Yes

Attach Message: Selecting Yes will attach your voicemail message to the above email addresses in a media file

Automatic Delete: If enabled this will delete the message from the system once a copy has been emailed to you

Delete Older Messages: This continuously deletes your oldest messages to keep your mailbox below 90% full

Messages

Max number of messages : 100

Min length of a voicemail message in seconds : 2

Max length of a voicemail message in seconds : 300

Greetings

Upload your voicemail message in the OFFLINE or busy option and press save to finish creating your voicemail.
